Prism Complete Guide - Photokinesis Illusionist Build
Who is Prism?
Prism (real name: Alice) is a pop star and influencer with the power of photokinesis in Dispatch. As a member of the Z-Team, she combines celebrity status with devastating illusionary abilities. Prism excels at Charisma-based missions and Combat situations, but has critically low Vigor making her a glass cannon.
✨ Unique Trait: Prism can create illusions of other heroes with her Perfect Copy ability, effectively doubling your strongest hero's power on missions. She's perfect for fights or PR events but can't take a hit.

Photokinesis Abilities Explained
💫 What is Photokinesis?
Light Manipulation: Prism can control and manipulate light at will
Photoionization: Convert light into solid constructs
Holographic Manipulation: Create convincing illusions
Unlike normal light flashing which causes temporary blindness, when Prism flashes someone, the blindness is permanent. This makes her exceptionally dangerous in combat scenarios.
👥 Doppelganger Illusion (Starting Power)
Effect: When assigned to a call, Prism duplicates the hero to her LEFT, placing their illusion in an empty slot with half their stats.
The hero must be on Prism's LEFT for duplication to work. Plan your team roster positioning carefully before deploying.
⭐ Perfect Copy (Hero Power Training - RECOMMENDED)
Upgrade Effect: Prism's copied illusions now have the FULL stats of the copied hero (100% instead of 50%).
You essentially get TWO of your strongest hero. Example: Copy a Combat 10 hero → You now have Combat 10 (original) + Combat 10 (copy) = Combat 20 total power on the mission.
Place Prism to the RIGHT of your highest-stat hero. The illusion fills an empty slot, so 2-hero missions become 3-hero power missions.
⏱️ Long Range Illusion (Alternative Power)
Effect: When a call is about to expire, Prism creates an illusion that keeps the call up for a few more seconds. This happens once per shift.
Optimal Prism Build Strategy
📊 Recommended Stat Priority
Starts at 4 - max this first for PR events, negotiations, and social missions. Prism excels here.
Also starts at 4 - invest heavily for fight scenarios. Combined with Perfect Copy, this becomes devastating.
Useful for tech-hybrid missions but not her primary strength.
Starting at 1 each - don't waste points here. Bring tanky teammates instead.
🎯 Power Choice Recommendation
Best Choice: Perfect Copy (99% of situations)
- Doubles your strongest hero's effectiveness instantly
- No tactical complexity - just position Prism correctly
- Scales infinitely with your roster strength
- Works on every mission type
Best Team Compositions

| Negotiations / Diplomacy | A-Tier | High Charisma handles these well |
| 2-Hero Missions | A-Tier | Perfect Copy makes it feel like 3-hero mission |

Advanced Prism Strategies
💡 Copy Target Priority System
Choose who to copy based on mission requirements:
- Combat Missions: Copy highest Combat stat hero (even if it's not Prism's strength)
- Charisma Missions: Copy second-best Charisma hero (Prism already brings her own)
- Balanced Missions: Copy hero with most relevant stat for primary objective
- Emergency Situations: Copy tank heroes if survival is more important than damage
⚡ Permanent Blindness Tactic
Leverage Prism's unique photokinesis application:
- Use light flash as opening move in combat to permanently blind key threats
- Prioritize high-damage enemies for blinding effect
- Coordinate with team to exploit blinded enemies' vulnerabilities
- Remember: This is PERMANENT, not temporary like normal light-based attacks
Common Prism Mistakes to Avoid
- Wrong positioning: Hero must be on Prism's LEFT to be copied. Placing Prism leftmost = no copy target.
- Investing in Vigor: Don't try to fix her Vigor 1 weakness. Instead, bring tanks to protect her.
- Ignoring Perfect Copy upgrade: This is her most powerful ability. Prioritize unlocking it ASAP.
- Copying weak heroes: Perfect Copy doubles stats - copying a hero with stats of 2-3 wastes the potential.
- Sending her to physical/tanky missions: Vigor 1 and Mobility 1 mean she fails at these mission types.
- Forgetting synergy partner: Prism + Flambae has official synergy bonuses. Use them together when possible.
